When it comes to spring cleaning, my skin is a top priority. It’s out with the old and in with the new, and I’m all about refreshing my beauty routine so I’m at my prime when summer finally arrives.

Skincare should vary from the cold to warmer months, as we swap our winter battle with dryness for our summer fight against sun damage. My skin has been seriously thirsty and tired all winter, and the key to bringing it back to life is hydration. That’s what maintains the elasticity in your skin, which keeps it looking young and smooth—and who doesn’t want that? Switching everything up at once can cause me to break out, so I try to integrate one new product at a time.

I’m always on the hunt for the perfect cleanser to wash away pollution and my full face of makeup (I def didn’t #wakeuplikethis). And Burt’s Bees Skin Nourishment Gentle Foaming Cleanser totally did the trick for my acne-prone skin. It left my skin feeling refreshed, renewed and legit clean. There’s nothing worse than trying a new face wash and feeling like you still have a thick layer of film left on your skin—it’s like you need a face wash for your face wash! But after trying this cleanser, my skin felt nourished, moisturized and super soft.

Like all Burt’s Bees products, it’s 99% natural, dermatologist tested and packed with lots of great vitamins and minerals to fight aging and promote balanced, healthy skin.

So for those hot, sunny days when I go lighter on the makeup, and heavier on the outdoors, a good cleanser is my first step towards getting that radiant, fresh finish we all want.

With my skincare revamp underway, I can kick off the rest of my spring cleaning…next up, overhauling my entire closet!
