How to look young and innocent (even if you’re not)
• Ease up on the eye makeup and opt for clear mascara. Only naughty girls smoulder.
• Avoid hairspray and gel. Innocent girls stay away from stickiness and goo. Run your fingers through your hair instead.
• Invest in shimmering lotion. Use it on your upper cheeks, chin and above the bow of your lip. Consider it your angelic glow.
• Wear a frosty pink lipstick. Just like in high school!
• Choose a cream blush. The moistness lets your skin shine through.
• Whiten your eyes. Those in the know use superstrength eyedrops, but they’re for short-term use only, so use a luminous white eyeshadow on the inner corner of your eyes instead.

Nail News
It seems to be a slow transition from the neutral pink shade we’ve been loving on our nails over the past year to, well, anything else. This season, however, a flurry of ice-cool neutrals is garnering attention. We witnessed long, silver metallic talons at Basso & Brooke and frosty pink shorts at Nina Ricci. For the coy who prefer a more subdued nail fashion, try the purplish-grey neutral favoured at BCBG Max Azria or the pièce de résistance: bright white (against black, oh my!) at Chanel.

Five classic beauty secrets to glow from head to toe
1. Get fresh-air flushed from a mid-afternoon walk (with SPF as part of your daily routine).
2. Brighten yellow nails with lemon (cut a lemon in two and stick your fingers and toes into the halves for a minute).
3. Use petroleum jelly for rough elbows.
4. Water, water and three more glasses of water. Drink up!
5. Get lots of beauty sleep!
