Jimmy Choo lovers will soon have another way to indulge their taste for luxe accessories. With the brand’s first fragrance set to hit stores in January, details are starting to surface. The scent will be a fresh, green chypre with notes of tiger orchid, toffee and patchouli, reported WWD. Founder and chief creative officer Tamara Mellon wanted the fragrance bottle itself to be a covetable item, like a prized pair of Jimmy Choos. When designing the rounded pink bottle, she was inspired by Murano glass, which reflects a piece of the brand’s heritage, since the material has been used in shoe designs as well as in chandeliers that hung in their first stores. Also in keeping anchored to the brand, Mellon herself posed for the fragrance’s print ads. Though retailers are confirmed in the U.S., Europe and the U.K., there’s no word yet on Canadian stores that will carry the perfume. Stay tuned for that, and news on a second and third juice, which are also said to be in the works.
