Going For The Glow
Shedding layers and revealing winter-pale appendages can seem a bit daunting at first and many of us crave a touch of summer's glow long before June 21. Unfortunately, any amount of unprotected sun exposure can result in sun spots (caused by an over-production of the natural pigment melanin), fine lines and, worst of all, skin cancer. Take a new approach to tanning. Choose scrubs, cleansers and creams with brightening properties to achieve clear, luminous skin that's free of dark circles, discolouration and skin-dulling residue, then touch up with illuminating concealers and powders. Your face will look fresh, not pale, but if you still miss a golden glow, safe self tanners will have an even better canvas to work on.
