Among the thousands of beauty vloggers populating YouTube, there’s an entire subset who devote themselves entirely to preaching the gospel of nail art. With offerings available by everyone from experts to enthusiastic amateurs, we’ve pulled together five of our favourite video tutorials.

Our favourite find amongst the nail art YouTubers is cutepolish, whose 70-plus easy-to-follow video tutorials range from a basic half-moon to a not-so-basic interpretation of the Angry Birds. This cherry-print how-to treads a fine line between chic and kitsch.

Are you totally bummed that you couldn’t get your hands on any of Missoni’s Target collection?
JauntyJuli has the solution with her zig-zag design inspired by the cultish Italian fashion house.

Cheetah print nails are a new nail art staple and London-based nail guru Sophy Robson created this punky pink-and-black version for Sephora. Learn the technique, then switch up your colour palette.

This technique—creating nail decals out of polish and a plastic bag—could work for a number of different designs. Here, one of our favourite polish bloggers, All Lacquered Up, shows how to create glistening river rock-like stickers.

The water marbling technique is one of the coolest things we spotted in our nail art research. This one comes from ilovemylongnails, but there are lots of other similar videos. To get the look, just put your polish droplets in a plastic cup filled with water, swirl and dip in your digits.
