NADA Launches A Signature Scent

From fashion to fragrance: the Canadian label enters the perfume game

Feminine and sexy, with a touch of edge: It’s an accurate description of Canadian fashion label NADA’s women’s wear, and now, too, of its signature fragrance. “I’ve always loved the idea of creating a fragrance to compliment the mood and feeling of the NADA brand,” says founder and creative director Nada Shepherd.

To give the style a scent, NADA turned to the custom perfume pros at Aromachology, who mix personality-based scents in their Toronto shop. The outcome is a fusion of spicy and sweet, with an oriental base of honeysuckle, ginger and saffron partnered with top notes of lotus flower, amber and jasmine.

With a new pop-up store, accessory collection, two online shops and the production of a 3D fashion film to showcase the fall collection, 2010 has been a big year for NADA. We can’t wait to see what the fashion-forward brand has in store for 2011.

NADA fragrance, $149. Available as of December 7, 2010 at and currently at the pop-up store in Toronto’s Bayview Village.
