Looks like 2010 will end much like it started for Joan Smalls: on a high note. The long-legged model, who had her big break walking in the Givenchy couture show in January, has just signed on as a global beauty ambassador with Estée Lauder. After bringing in Liu Wen as their first Chinese face in April, it seems that the prestige beauty brand is keeping the diversity going with the black Puerto Rico-born beauty. It’s been a busy year for Smalls, who was all over runways in New York, Milan and Paris–including a side-by-side strut with Beyoncé at Tom Ford’s mega-hyped show, where he sighed “and she just turned me straight” as he introduced Smalls. With her velvety complexion and Jolie-rivaling pout, we can’t wait to see Smalls’ sure-to-be-stunning ads, due out in May. Which model would you love to see score a beauty campaign?
