In the midst of fashion week last season, one of M.A.C’s makeup artists made our hearts race when she posted a photo of a yet-unreleased eyeshadow palette filled with the prettiest mix of neutral greys, pinks and nudes—and bearing the sassiest name: Basic Bitch.
Six months later, the brand is gracing us with that very palette as a part of their #MACGIRLS collection. Each one is named for a particular personality, and contains eight eyeshadow hues and one highlighter (see the bigger pot on the far right). So even if you avoid Ugg boots like the plague, there’s something here for you.
The palettes launch on August 3 for $48 each, and there’s no doubt Basic Bitch will sell out faster than you can say “pumpkin spice latte.”
Check out all six palettes below, and visit FLARE’s Facebook on August 2 at 1 p.m. EST to watch three of our editors test out Rockin’ Rebel, Mischief Minx, Prissy Princess and, of course, Basic Bitch. Bonus: comment on the video and you’ll have the chance to win one of the palettes!!
