Judges Announced For Canada’s Best Beauty Talent

Singer Mia Martina, Hello! Canada Editor join FLARE’s Lisa Tant in battle of the beauticians.

Dance music sensation Mia Martina, Hello! Canada Editor-In-Chief Alison Eastwood, and CityLine host Tracy Moore are among the judges joining FLARE magazine’s own Editor-In-Chief Lisa Tant in a nationwide search for Canada’s Best Beauty Talent.

Other judges announced on Monday, March 12 include:

Catherine Franklin – Chatelaine magazine’s Beauty and Fashion Editor
Eden Bluestein – leading makeup artist for Yves Saint Laurent
Eric Del Monaco – Official Hair Artist and Colourist for L’Oréal Paris in Canada
Daniel Fiorio – one of Canada’s foremost hairstylists
Eddie Malter – Official Makeup Artist for L’Oréal Paris in Canada.
Anna Pacitto – Artistic Director for L’Oréal Professionnel Canada
Lora Spiga – Official Makeup Artist for Lancôme in Canada

“[I’m looking for] someone that is very creative without being influenced by trends,” Martina says. “Someone who just has that natural eye for beauty.” The series will see 12 hair stylists and makeup artists compete to win a trip to Paris; a two-page spread and portfolio review with Flare, Lou Lou and Hello! Canada; and their own beauty blog on Chatelaine.com. Challenges will include Dramatic, Bridal and Red Carpet. May the best beautician win!
