With World AIDS Day coming up on December 1, L’Oréal Professional Products Division is doing its part in spreading awareness. The company has cast 12 gorgeous stars for a 2011 calendar as part of its Hairdressers Against AIDS program, a partnership between L’Oréal Foundation d’Entreprise and UNESCO. The education campaign seeks to reach out to hairdressers around the globe to teach AIDS prevention, so they in turn can spread the word to their clients.

Among the famous faces that grace the calendar’s pages are Audrey Tautou, Lou Doillon, Vanessa Paradis and former FLARE cover girls Diane Kruger and Doutzen Kroes, all coiffed and shot by hairstylist and photographer John Nollet. Though the calendar won’t be sold publicly, it will be distributed to salons across Canada for the new year for stylists and clients to admire–and to keep AIDS awareness top of mind. With a stunning black and white photo for each month, it’s sure to be a conversation piece all year long.
