After years and years of feeling like a total weakling, my New Years’ resolution was to start lifting weights, and I have to say, I really love it. I feel stronger and finally have a baby bicep (read: slight definition and can actually do a push-up). To add a bit of variety, I also attend a Nike Training Club class at the Academy of Lions once a week. The instructor Eva Redpath is the perfect balance of hard-ass and encouraging. Since I’ve been travelling a lot lately, the N+TC app has been a godsend. And to keep my heart healthy, I mix in soccer, treadmill jogs (with my iPad to catch up on my favorite shows!) and high-intensity interval training (HIIT).
