With doll lashes at Rochas and graphic white-striped eyes at Nanette Lepore, the ’60s were swingin’ on spring runways. Matching the mod mood, Estée Lauder teamed up with the house of Courrèges—the decade’s miniskirt and go-go boots master—for a limited-edition collection. Inspiration for the partnership came from beauty mogul Lauder and couturier André Courrèges’ vision of accessible luxury during the Cold War’s peak. “We love the idea of pop-timism and pop-luxury,” explains Jacques Bungert, the label’s owner and co‑president. In keeping with the French house’s fondness for offbeat materials and silhouettes, the makeup and its packaging are designed to surprise, notably the orb-shaped highlighter (just right for Courrèges’ moon-girl muse) and the lunar-white liquid eyeliner (his signature bright-future colour). Available exclusively at and select Sephora stores
