Tweezerman's little filing wonders make us go dotty

Polka dots are hot-hot for fall, showing up on the runway at Lanvin, Stella McCartney, Diane Von Furstenberg and most notably at Marc Jacobs, where models were spotted from their berets right down to their tights. So we’re happy that Tweezerman has fed our craving a little bit early with a set of their outrageously adorable Matchbox Itty Bitty Files, $5, that’s emblazoned with a new ombré version of their Hot For Dots range. Though the files are indeed practical, featuring a rough side for tough jobs and a finer side for smoothing. But to be honest, we’re not even sure we’d have the heart to use them, preferring to keep them boxed up on the vanity like dotty little toy soldiers. But if you do decide to break one free, it will, at a brief 2.5 inches long, fit into your pocket or the most ridiculous of minaudières, so you won’t have to wait a second to fix a snag. At
