This fall, boyish hair is going to make a strong style statement, according to the runways of Dolce & Gabbana and Yves Saint Laurent—to name a few—where models were style with styles that mimicked short crops and came complete with sideburns. Some of Hollywood’s hottest stars have been more than happy to jump on the short-hair bandwagon. Anthony Ingraldi, co-owner and lead hairstylist of Toronto’s Hair on the Avenue salon says if you’re going to do the big chop, now is the right time. “Hair can get damaged over the summer, especially the ends, so it’s best to just cut off the damaged hair altogether,” he says. “Plus, the boy hair look is sharp and strong, and right on trend.”
