Question: Help!!! I applied a self-tanner last night and I’m WAY too dark! How can I get some of this color off? I’m desperate!

Answer:

Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate. Apply a body scrub or use a loofah sponge with your favourite body wash and start scrubbing down. For your face, recruit a gentler face scrub with round, exfoliating beads. Lucky for you, self-tanner only effects the top layer of your skin, so scrubbing your “tan” away should be fairly easy. In the future, try a gradual self tanner such as Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer, which slowly gives you a faux glow over the course of seven days. Simply stop using it once you feel  you’ve achieved the colour you want.
