Whether you’re looking forward to a high-low hemline, slice, mini or a circle skirt, it’s guaranteed that you’ll be showing a lot of leg this season. Make sure your skin is prepped with an ultra-moisturizing shave cream, razor and the best of the best in body lotion—each for $12 or less.

Eos Shave Cream in Vanilla Bliss, $4,

Unlike a traditional shave cream that froths as you rub it on your legs, Eos has a creamy texture. It uses the same pump system as many hand lotions and remains thick even as you spread it on your skin—which makes it possible to do a dry shave without causing scaly, dried-out patches. We love the fragrant scent of Vanilla Bliss, but there’s also a Pomegranate Raspberry variety, as well as one that is fragrance free. The new formula, available in stores now, is ultra moisturizing with ingredients such as aloe, shea butter, Vitamin C & E and oat to protect and care for the skin.

Venus & Olay Razor, $12 at drugstores and mass retailers.

When it comes to shaving, dry skin needs all the help it can get. This razor, with five spring-mounted blades (necessary for curving around knees and ankles) offers a close shave, but the best part is the Olay moisture bars that line the top and bottom of the razor. In  a pinch, you can wet the razor and shave without shave cream—though we like to lather up and only rely on the moisture bars when going back over any spots we missed. Bonus: When the bars run out, you know it’s time to change your cartridge.

Garnier Body Intensive 7 Days Soothing Gel-Cream, $8 at drugstores and mass retailers.

This lotion is the best. You can apply it to your legs only minutes after shaving without a burning sensation and it makes skin feel super slick immediately. Though the directions suggest applying it twice daily for four weeks to get a resulting week of hydration, applying it once every two days will be enough to keep you running your hands over your legs—trust us. The lotion contains L-Bifidus, a moisture shield inspired by probiotics, and peach oil to sooth and nourish. Even if you have sensitive skin, your legs will love it.
