We’ve already raved about the fashion-forward fingernails that popped up at New York Fashion Week last month, and Paris followed suit without disappointment. Our vote for the most elaborate runway nail art? The collaboration between Alexander McQueen and Minx. Designer Sarah Burton, who took the helm this season after the passing of the label’s namesake designer, and stylist Camilla Nickerson worked with the adhesive nail-art brand to create manicures as whimsical as the house’s famed designs. The clothing’s fabric swatches inspired the Minx team to create faux leather and golden leaf motif decals. While Burton is getting much praise for keeping McQueen’s legacy strong, we also admire the masterful manis, which uphold the attention to detail that the late designer was known for.
