Vanessa Grimaldi has spoken out since her breakup with Nick Viall—and her message is totally relatable.
“It’s okay to feel broken. It’s okay to cry. It’s okay to lean on a friend,” she captioned a photo of her leaning her head on the shoulder of a friend. “In the end, it will always be okay.” Woah, we were not expecting such transparency.
The 29-year-old Montréal native got engaged to the 36-year-old Bachelor (and Bachelorette, and Bachelor in Paradise) alum in March on Season 21 of The Bachelor, and the couple dated publicly for five months.
The fact that Grimaldi isn’t putting on a facade and admitting that she’s not okay right now is totally admirable, and TBH, a much-needed dose of reality—especially since Bachelor stars are known to use their social media to sell
stuff perfected versions of themselves. Most of us have experienced heartbreak, and while it’s tough, it’s refreshing to see that those in the spotlight aren’t immune to shitty feelings after a relationship ends.
Neither Grimaldi nor Viall have officially commented on why they parted way. We wish both of them the best.
