Being on The Bachelor and part of Bachelor Nation is good for exactly two and a half things. The first is getting a surge in Instagram followers, of course. The second, and most important, is that you get a once in a lifetime opportunity to find that special person who will be there for you forever, for better or for worse, in sickness and in health, ‘til death do you part—your long-lost soul sister, obviously! ‘Cause 20-odd women cooped up in a mansion for two months with no access to the outside world is bound to make for some unbreakable friendships.
(Editor’s note: The added possibility of actually developing a long-lasting relationship with the Bachelor himself is the final half, and it’s more like a bonus than anything else, plus it’s just half a thing since most of those relationships end prematurely anyway and, duh, a newfound bestie is what’s really important here.)
Let’s meet the *real* Bachelor couples we ship!
Season 22: Kendall and Jacqueline
While some may have been saying “Jacqueline, whom?!” due to her lack of airtime on Arie’s season, she ended up making the most of her downtime and found that one-of-a-kind love anyway—but with Kendall, not Arie. The moment when Kendall literally collapsed into Jacqueline’s arms crying, upon finding out that her newfound bestie was sending herself home, was probably the biggest tear-jerker of the season. Did we rewind that very moment to watch it back multiple times? Yes, we sure did. Did we cry harder and harder every time? Yes again.
