Set in Winnipeg, the show follows an overweight 15-year-old boy (Camacho) as he struggles to survive his teenage years in a dysfunctional family. It’s premiering on Oct. 13. Stay tuned for my interviews on flare.com/celebrity. Alexandra Breen

Urban Dictionary BORED AT THE OFFICE? If you aren’t one of the 30,000,000 who have ventured onto the blog site StuffWhitePeopleLike.com you are missing out! Geared towards making fun of the waspy American, the blog comments on the “unique taste of millions” including coffee, multilingual children, irony and threatening to move to Canada, to name a few. Also check out www.urbandictionary.com to keep up to date with your everyday slang! Katy Sems, Flare Intern

Aimee Mann SHE’S DA MAN: Aimee Mann’s latest disc, @#%&*! Smilers has been rocking the office jukebox lately. It delivers some seriously sharp songs for those who like their pop simple and sophisticated. The two tracks that stand out are: “Little Tornado” (sad but beautiful) and “31 today” (reflective but hilarious). My favorite album of Aimee’s so far is still The Forgotten Arm though. Elio Iannacci

Tropic Thunder LOL: I am such a fan of silly, feel good comedies and it looks like there are going to be a couple fun options for the end of the summer. First there is the latest Seth Rogan comedic installment: Pineapple Express, in theatres August 8th. Then, the action movie spoof Tropic Thunder starring Jack Black, Ben Stiller and Robert Downy Jr. hits screens August 13th. Later in the month you can catch the 2008 Sundance smash-hit comedy Hamlet 2 with Steve Coogan. Nothing like ending a great summer with a good laugh! Katy Sems, Flare Intern

Sebastian Tellier FRENCH KISS: Sebastian Tellier’s new album Sexuality is incredible. From the bass and thump of his first single “Sexual Sportswear” to the sheer sensuality of the song “Look”—Tellier’s tunes are perfect for lazy cottage weekends. If, after you checked it out, are looking for more of his magic, I suggest getting your hands on a classic song of his called “La Ritournelle” and look up his extremely touching video on YouTube. Jimmy Fallon TICKLE ME JIMMY Although his movie career didn't quite strike a fevered pitch, we've always had a thing for Jimmy Fallon. He stole the spotlight as the host of MTV Movie Awards in 2001 and forever carved a place in our hearts. (We're thrilled over reports indicating he's the new host of "Late Night," taking over for Conan O'Brien in 2009). Lucky us, Jimmy touched down at Massey Hall in Toronto for the Just For Laughs Festival and FYI: He's just as adorable in real life. Although he was officially only playing host to a lineup of 6 fellow comedians, he gave the audience a proper giggle fit. From Robin Williams to Steve Martin to Chris Rock, he impressively and hilariously impersonated 20+ Just For Laughs hall-of-famers in less than 10 minutes. However, Jimmy should watch out. Self-deprecating and just as funny Mike Birbiglia, who also performed that night, could steal some of his spotlight one day. Juliette Baxter

Vicky Cristina Barcelona BARCELONA BLISS: I just saw the preview for the new Woody Allen flick Vicky Cristina Barcelona starring Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz and Scarlett Johansson. In true Woody Allen style the film looks pretty quirky and eccentric … just the right dose of fun while the summer starts to wind down. In theatres August 15th. Katy Sems, Flare Intern
