After opening Gianni Versace’s archives for pop icon Lady Gaga, sister Donatella Versace has just announced a new collaboration with fast fashion label H&M. Following in the footsteps of Karl Lagerfeld, Comme des Garçons, Roberto Cavalli, Jimmy Choo and Lanvin, the House of Versace will debut a full collection of apparel for men and women, as well as homeware, this fall. The collection will land in-stores November 19 at select H&M locations across Canada.
The mix of leather, prints and colour will embody the key moments in Versace history that have defined the label since 1978: “I’m going to use iconic Versace pieces from iconic Versace moments…and not always from the past but also the present,” says Donatella in a statement on the collaboration.
Expect to see floaty silk print dresses, a series of high heels shoes and costume jewellery, as well as coveted studded leather dresses, as seen here during Donatella’s menswear show in Milan yesterday.
Watch Now: Donatella and the team at H&M share the story behind the collaboration and gives a sneak peek at what we can expect to see in stores this fall.
