With spring quickly approaching, there is no doubt that your wardrobe is due for a bold injection of colour. Straight from the fashion closet, the FLARE intern team shows you how to wear florals.

Kate Paddison draws on her love for scarves with this brush-stroke print that pairs perfectly with a simple T-shirt and jeans or the sweet LWD (little white dress)—all the while, keeping you casual and cool.

Looking for a chic twist? Dive into Nina Mourin’s edgy intuition by pairing this flowy kimono top with black leather shorts and motorcycle boots. And for those cool summer nights dress it with an airy tank, wide-leg jeans and cork wedges.

Alexandra Birukova envisions this Jil Sander gem as the focal point. Combining the skirt with a basic white tee and strappy sandals, the emphasis falls on accessories—a clutch and statement jewellery for a final touch.

Travis Komarnisky shares his shoe fetish with these Nicholas Kirkwood heels. Worn with romantic draped garments and sharp, hard-edged accessories just like a rose, he advises, “Beautiful, but watch out for the thorns.”

The combination of floral and maxi stole my heart, making this my favourite for the season. Worn under a camel leather jacket and accessorized with a black headband, it makes florals for spring…groundbreaking.
