Flare Volunteer Awards

Flare Magazine is committed to acknowledging, celebrating and publicizing the importance of volunteerism in Canada through The FLARE Volunteer Awards. As one of the most acclaimed women’s magazines in the country, we feel it is our responsibility and privilege to highlight outstanding female volunteers from coast to coast for our readers and within the charitable sector across Canada.

The prestigious FLARE Volunteer Awards are presented each year to six outstanding Canadian female volunteers aged 18 and up whose volunteer achievements have made a difference to the lives of the people in their communities. The final recipients will be invited to Toronto, as our guests of honour, in May 2008. While in Toronto, they will participate in a photo-shoot, are our guests of honour at a VIP awards ceremony and are profiled in a subsequent awards announcement in the 2008 August issue of Flare Magazine.
