Joseph Altuzarra’s highly anticipated J.Crew collection has finally been revealed. Inspired by Jean Seberg and vintage photos of Brigitte Bardot in St. Tropez, the New York-based designer has revealed a gingham-heavy collection made up of waist-cinching shirts, fitted garden dresses and classic sailor stripes. Altuzarra, who won the prestigious CFDA award in 2011 is the first of three to debut their capsule lines with the mass American retailer. Jewellery designer Pamela Love (May 17) and Creatures of the Wind (June 14) will debut their apparel pieces in the coming weeks.
The Joseph Altuzarra for J.Crew collection will arrive online tomorrow (with shipping to Canada) and in U.S. stores April 23, with pieces starting at $145.
