Designing for the contemporary, urban woman, Snoflake’s Debbie Sutton has built the Toronto-based line on a versatile collection of feminine and flirty dresses, pants, skirts, tops, and blazers that can take you from the office to cocktail hour. Sutton launched Snoflake in 2000, after working in the fashion industry for several years, where she honed her skills as an assistant designer, merchandiser, stylist, and a cutter/key team member with a bridal designer. Striking our on her own, her creations are simple, with subtle details, like the ankle tie on “Pascale”, her skinny black pant, making each piece unique. Standout styles include “Madeline,” a 1950’s style printed silk dress, “Cleo,” an organic cotton twill a-line coat, perfect for fall chills, and cute tanks like “Yvette”, easily paired with a cardigan and skirt for the ideal office ensemble.
