For those of us that are fashion chameleons, a brand that can cover all our moods can be hard to come by. Not anymore. Enter Noir Bonbon, a Vancouver-based line that offers up pieces that run the gamut from sweet, flirty styles to edgy, exotic cuts. Launched in 2008 by designer Kim-Anh Duong the clothes are easy to wear and comfortable, with most pieces made from environmentally sound material like tencel, soy, organic cotton, or cashmere. This summer’s line, inspired by the street style of the Southern French coastal city of Marseille, featured casual dresses with cool detailing, like the triangle racerback dress, and the perfect mix-n-match pieces, like the v-neck “Yin Yang” cardigan. Keep your eyes open for the fall collection, which showcases neo-army influences and masculine silhouettes intermixed with feminine detailing.
