You probably remember this Toronto-based designer from his participation on Season Two of Project Runway Canada, where he became known for taking fashion risks that eventually led him to a spot in the top three and a chance to show his collection at Toronto Fashion Week. The financial advisor-turned-high-end womenswear designer launched his line in 2006 after graduating from Toronto’s International Academy of Design and has since gained a reputation for his penchant for flirty cocktail frocks in bold colors and embellished with elaborate detailing. Not for the fashion faint of heart, Meyers’ styles lean towards the dramatic, with thigh-skimming hemlines, gold lame accents, and lace tights dominating his most recent collections.
