Miss Piggy is preparing for a hectic holiday season promoting her new film The Muppets. In it she plays a fashion editor, and while the celebrated performer has never needed any help in the style department (after all, she served as Marc Jacobs’ muse when he created a custom creation for her in 2009), FLARE was honoured to help her capture the essence of editors’ style.
We recruited three Canadian designers—Jeremy Laing, Greta Constantine and Amanda Lew Kee—to create ensembles to dazzle the room at Miss Piggy’s next high-profile holiday event. Who knows? If the critical buzz surrounding her performance holds, maybe one of these designers will be getting a call to dress Miss Piggy this Oscar season.
