The Visitor

THE VISITOR
Set against a bustling NYC backdrop, this indie gem with oodles of heart and soul tells the story of a burnt out 62-year-old professor (Richard Jenkins from Six Feet Under) whose passion for life is re-ignited after a simple act of kindness brings two complete strangers into his world. Be forewarned, this moving drama from the director of the award-winning movie The Station Agent will stay with you long after the closing credits fade.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall

FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL
Forgetting Sarah Marshall, the latest comedy from the team behind 40 Year old Virgin and Knocked Up, is going to have you in stitches. Writer Jason Segel stars as a wannabe musician dumped by his TV star girlfriend, Sarah Marshall (Kristen Bell). Unable to cope, he splits the scene and heads to Hawaii. Problem is that Sarah happens to be staying at the same resort with her new British rocker boyfriend (Russell Brand)—ouch!

Bella

BELLA
If you’re a sucker for flicks about love and the power of fate, you won’t want to miss Bella—a love story that snagged the Toronto International Film Festival’s People’s Choice Award. It’s about a chance happening that forever changes the lives of a super hunky international soccer star (Eduardo Verástegui) and a struggling NYC waitress (Tammy Blanchard). Looks like I’ve found myself a new Mexican crush in Verástegui—sorry Gael Garcia. www.bellamoviesite.com

Leatherheads

LEATHERHEADS
Oscar winners George Clooney and Renée Zellweger star opposite John Krasinski (The Office) in this Clooney directed and produced romantic comedy set in the 1920’s world of American football. Clooney plays a football hero (Dodge Connelly) hell-bent on re-vamping his team’s image. Meanwhile, Zellweger’s character—a feisty journalist, is determined to dig up some dirt on the team’s squeaky clean new star (Krasinski). Rest assured ladies, its love-triangle plot line will keep you hooked. Alex Breen
