Toronto’s tweens were treated yesterday to an appearance by country singing sensation Taylor Swift, whose promotional tour has taken her to Canada. The blonde beauty recently released her third album Speak Now, which sold more than a million copies in its first week—the biggest opening for an album in five years. The street was closed down outside the MuchMusic headquarters, while herds of tennyboppers anxiously awaited the starlet’s arrival. The former FLARE cover girl looked every bit the part of the down-to-earth, girl next door that she is known for. Wearing black jeans and a lilac off the shoulder sweater, the songstress bundled up in a navy toggle buttoned coat while braving the cold to spend time signing autographs and meeting her fans outside. Swift talked with VJ Sarah Taylor for thirty minutes, discussing her music, life, friends, family and her relationships but what we really want to know is if there is a budding romance between her and Mr. Gyllenhaal?
