PARTY SCORECARD: TORONTO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2012
When: Saturday, September 8
The Scene: Big box shop Target took over the Templar Hotel causing a stir in the heart of Toronto during TIFF's opening weekend. From the carpet to the hotel's exterior, red and white were the colours du jour. Inside the brand decked out everything from rooms to uniforms to even plates in signature red. Jian Ghomeshi played host on the last evening of the Target Hotel's run celebrating his soon-to-be-launched memoir 1982.
The VIPs: Bullseye, the brand's iconic dog, actress Sarah Gadon, FLARE columnist Dan Levy and man of the hour Jian Ghomeshi all walked the red (of course!) carpet at the intimate bash for 150 special guests.
The Menu: Moët was the drink of choice for all, while petite tasters traveled around--all cooked up by the Monk Kitchen.
Last Call: Mo Moët, mo problems. We don't remember the party ever ending which is always a good sign of a memorable bash. Next up, Target is set to land across Canada in early 2013. -- Ryan Michael Cheung
