Lela Rose, who crafts cocktail dresses beloved by chic socials like The City’s Olivia Palermo and Blake Lively, is already well known for embracing colour and ladylike details, so it wasn’t such a leap for her to launch into bridal design. Last year, the New York designer debuted a fabulous break-with-tradition line of wedding gowns and, this spring, is introducing a fashion forward bridesmaids dress collection. The attendants’ frocks were first seen at former First Daughter Jenna Bush’s wedding last summer and were an instant hit.
