How does Katy Perry top battling Snoop Dogg in Candyland, finding intergalactic romance, and shooting fireworks from her bra? How about doing it all in 3D? Katy Perry is in talks with Paramount Studios and Imagine Entertainment about creating a 3D music documentary film. The film would show footage of her live performances, and her story of growing up and becoming a pop icon.

Perry would be following in the footsteps of Justin Bieber who’s concert film, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never, raked in $73 million and holds the North American box-office record for a concert film.

The pop singer has unleashed eight number one hits over the last four years, including
“Hot N Cold,” “I Kissed A Girl,” “California Gurls,” “Teenage Dream,” “Firework,” and
“Last Friday Night.” With five number ones, Perry’s Teenage Dream has tied with Michael Jackson’s Bad for most number ones from a single album. This spring, Perry will re-release the album with bonus tracks. Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection to be released on March 27, 2012.

Katy Perry can be seen next at the Grammy Awards where Teenage Dream is nominated for Record of the Year and her single “Firework” for Best Pop Solo Performance. It also was announced today, Wednesday, February 1st, that the pop sensation will be performing at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 12th at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.--Erin Fitzsimmons
