The royal Kate notwithstanding, Kate Moss's wedding to Kills guitarist Jamie Hince, a three-day extravaganza, was undoubtedly the most fashionable nuptials of the year.
As has long been rumoured, Moss arrived at a church in the Cotswolds village of Southrop wearing a wedding gown by disgraced designer John Galliano. The airy vintage-inspired dress had a sheer overlay covered with gold sequins and Moss's white lace veil was embroidered with flowers. Her shoes were from Manolo Blahnik.
Moss also wore three separate looks by Stella McCartney--a silk chiffon dress for the first dance, a beaded mini-dress and finally, a white three-piece suit for her going away outfit. McCartney also made the dresses for some members of the bridal party.
Guests included McCartney, YSL designer Stefano Pilati (Hince wore bespoke YSL)Naomi Campbell, who wore Givenchy Couture to the ceremony, and artist Tracey Emin, who designed the centrepieces.
The evening's reception was reported to feature a vintage dress-up box and custom fireworks.
