As the granddaughter of the late Italian jeweller Isaac Hasbani, Montreal-based Ariane Arazi has bauble making in her blood. And while she does draw on her family tradition to create her collection of chunky and colourful gems, she's applying that high-end Hasbani Gioelli heritage to give her accessible adornments a haute spin.

The certified gemologist uses a combination of Swarovski crystals, mixed metals, freshwater pearls and semi-precious stones to handcraft her bold and intricate designs, including funky gold-hoop necklaces, eye-catching cocktail rings and glam drop earrings.

The best part? Arazi's locally made luxuries range from $35–$800, so you can build up your collection of bling without blowing your budget.
