Canada’s prized retail jewel, offering affordable fashion to the masses, will soon be available to our American neighbours. Giving New Yorkers a little taste of Canadian style, it is being reported that a Joe Fresh store will be opening in the Big Apple. Although our American friends won’t have the luxury of shopping for groceries alongside wallet-friendly fashions, the stand-alone store will take up over 15,000 square feet of prime real estate on Fifth Avenue, one of the most fashionable streets in the world. The new outpost at 510 Fifth Avenue will be the only free standing store outside of Vancouver and, by serving up stylish bargains to American shoppers, it is sure to gain us Canucks some serious fashion credit.
