We had a chance to take in the latest flick from actor/director/producer Tony Goldwyn at TIFF this week and were wowed by yet another standout performance from Hilary Swank.  Granted, she had lots to work with given the astonishing material based on an unemployed single mother of two who over the course of 12 years earned her law degree and freed her brother (a wrongfully convicted murderer) by challenging founded DNA evidence. Phew. This is certainly bound to get Swank some attention come Oscar season. Special thanks go out to RIM for the show tickets.
