In our first instillation of FLARE's FASHION CHALLENGE, we enlisted Serina Lee, a busy Vancouver style blogger (Chic-du-Chic) and Artizia marketing intern to capture herself in an abundance of prints everyday for one week. "I love how they can make an outfit exciting and spontaneous," says Lee. "It's playful and a great way to add interest to a generic, neutral-toned wardrobe." Here, this effervescent girl-about-town dutifully offers the key to each look and inspires us to break out of our solid-separates rut. "My style tip would be to choose the right print - one that is not too overwhelming. Try and challenge yourself by mixing prints with different textures - you'll realize that experimentation with your wardrobe can go a long way," Lee says.

Look 1: Floral on Floral
"This was inspired by Tokyo's fashionable Shibuya girls - mixing up florals epitomizes the definition of kawaii (cute)!"
- Wilfred floral shorts, Grey tee (Korea), Floral LDS headband (Tokyo), Zara wedges, Chloe Tekla handbag

Look 2: Silken
"Attention to little details, such as mixing textures with prints, makes a silk-on-silk outfit that much more romantic."
- Wilfred silk shorts, Wilfred silk printed blouse, Topshop chiffon vest, Zara pumps, vintage clutch

Look 3: Urban Bumpkin
"A mish-mash of florals creates a fun, carefree attitude perfect for summer."
- Urban Outfitters floral romper, Shibuya 109 denim button up and wedges, Daikanyama straw hat, Louis Vuitton neverfull tote

Look 4: Monochromatic
"Combining prints can be a challenge, but black and white patterns keep the look chic and allow bright colors to really pop."

- Central Park West Blouse, Days of Freedom printed scarf, Zara harem pants and bandage shoes, Front & Company trilby hat, Chloe Tekla bag

Look 5: Tea Party
"Be daring enough to look through your Mother's closet and wear 80's printed skirts as strapless dresses – A fresh look."
- Vintage Skirt (worn as a tube dress), vintage white blazer, Honey Bunch floral headband, Shibuya 109 wedges, Balenciaga Giant City handbag

Look 6: New Noir
"Mixing batik or safari prints with edgy, minimalist touches just feels right."

- Wilfred high-waist pants, Topshop cropped top, vintage metal belt, Mango shoes, Anthropology floral necklace, Prada Purse
