Since she burst onto the fashion scene in 2009, London’s Mary Katrantzou has thrilled even the most religiously sedate style-setters with her maximal, surreally-charged prints.
With the release of an unprecedented collection for Topshop, she seamlessly brings her demi-couture creations to a whole new crew of statement makers for a fraction of the cost.
The Mary Katrantzou for Topshop collection is set to arrive in early March 2012 at The Bay [Yorkdale Mall, Toronto]. Prices range from $120 to $630.

Diane Kruger wore a striped skirt over a floral dress to a press conference earlier today, and it looks so good. The German actress wore the look, straight from 10 Crosby, Derek Lam's new diffusion line, to promote Farewell, My Queen, which also stars Virginie Ledoyen and Lea Seydoux.
Bold bars paired with bright colours is a now-common street style trope thanks to Prada's stripe-y Spring 2011 collection, but the delicate flower pattern is a bit different, and stands up to its loud surroundings rather well. The hemline peeking out the bottom of the striped skirt is subtle enough that we didn't notice it at first, and it gives the whole outfit an extra twist. And true to Kruger's style, she didn't get shy with her footwear, finishing the look with a yellow spangled pair of Guiseppe Zanotti sandals.
Do you like Kruger's look? Would you double up on skirts?
