Thine Own Self
Seen at: Alexander Wang (left), Stella McCartney (middle), Loewe (right), Giambatista Valli, Chloe, Versace, Blumarine, Gucci, Balenciaga, Preen. Be it a sleek ponytail, graphic liner or bold lip, the typical runway beauty norm is for every model to wear matching hair and makeup—but not so for spring 2016. Time and time again, makeup merely enhanced each girl’s natural features (or was skipped altogether, like at the moisturizer-only Alexander Wang show) and hair was simply washed then left to air-dry however it may, texture and all. It was all about celebrating the individual, so cheers to you!
